Food healing is really important for most of us to incorporate. Part of my own healing journey for chronic pain and inflammation, sent me into food healing studies along with herbs and supplements. I take turmeric capsules daily and they have made a huge impact on my daily living along with eating more foods in alignment for my body’s needs. We planted a Goji berry bush last year too!

This was such a great episode. Thank you for sharing this with us. Does she promote a whole foods plant based diet (no meat or dairy)? In your next episode with her, I would love to learn more on inflammation and what acidic foods to eat/stay away from. Also, is turmeric capsules as good as fresh turmeric? I don’t like the taste of turmeric so capsules would be easier for me. Thanks again!

Jessica eats meat too. I am not sure about dairy but I will reach out to her. Turmeric capsules are great- they can take the place of using the spine in your cooking, however if you can use the spice that would be my first choice.

I have some recipes on my website already that help with inflammation: http://katemihevcedwards.com/show/recipes

Thank you for your response. I would love to see Dr. Michael Gregor from nutritionfacts.org on your show one day. He does the research on meat and dairy as well as whole foods plant-based foods that you and us, your audience might find interesting. I will check out your recipes. Thanks again!

Thank You I will check him out! Dairy and meat are not the enemy 🙂 I just tend to gravitate to plant based diets.
